About Us
Ferrymead Bays has become one of the largest sports clubs in Christchurch and this year (2010) we are hoping to break our records for the number of junior and senior teams. The club is committed to playing at the highest level possible. To complement our top Men's team competing in the Mainland Premier League this year we have numerous teams in the 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th & 15th Youth grades.
A sincere thank you goes to our current sponsors for their on going support. There is always room for more sponsors should you wish to contribute. Remember to support our sponsors and mention you saw their ad. Additionally, the Club spends a lot of money on goods and services. If you can help by offering discounted goods or services, please contact the committee or note it on the registration form.
As previously we require assistance from parents who can coach or assist with teams in other roles. No soccer experience is necessary and we give full support to our coaches, with the club covering the cost of coaching courses. In conjunction with Mainland Football, we are planning at least one coaching clinic prior to the season.
Playing Strips
All junior players’ shirts are supplied by the club through your team coach. Players’ also need Ferrymead Bays blue & white socks, white shorts, shin pads and boots. Gear will be available for purchase at a discounted price on the registration days. This gear is not necessary for the Beginners group. Redcliff’s Dairy is a stockist of official Club socks.

Clubrooms
Since the demise of our old Clubrooms at “The Ferrymead Restaurant & Bars” We have been looking for a new home. The Sand Bar was used for a couple of seasons but were found to be unsuitable. Last season we moved to our current Clubrooms at Ferrymead Golf...
Each Saturday during the season a couple of Junior teams are invited to the Clubrooms to watch video's of their games played earlier in the day.
These junior teams visit the Clubrooms and presentations (along with Senior presentations / speeches) are made for player of the day etc.
Children from each team are given a Free soft-drink. Hot food is also available.
This is a Smoke-Free facility where women, families and children are made to feel welcome.
