Director of Coaching...

If you have any coaching questions contact Colin Evans, Ferrymead Bay's Director of Coaching who will be happy to assist you. Also contact Mick Braithwaite for any questions on the Bays Soccer Academy , which runs an in-house Player Development Program tailored for 7 to 13 year olds. The Player Development Program has been designed for young soccer players registered with the Ferrymead Bays Soccer Club, who have the commitment and determination to work at raising their soccer skills to a new level.


Training Information

Please contact Richard Bell(juniors-15 years and younger), Neil Murphy(seniors-16 years and older),Jason McDowall(women's-16 years and over) and Mar Piercey(masters-35 / 45 years and over) for your proposed training times. Please take note of the following for the training locations.

BARNETT PARK

  • IMPORTANT: Please do not train or play on the main senior pitch. It is the only way we can make it last through the entire season is by restricting its use during the week.
  • Training times – Barnett Park is not available after 6:30pm for training on Tuesday – Thursday. This is when the Men’s Senior Teams train.
  • Changing Rooms - the key to access these rooms is in the key-lockbox on the Home changing room door. Please ensure rooms are locked and key is returned to the lockbox.

FERRYMEAD PARK

  • There are no lights on these fields.
  • Changing Rooms - the key to access these rooms and the gate is in the key-lockbox on the Home changing room door. Please ensure rooms are locked and key is returned to the lockbox.

HEATHCOTE DOMAIN                                          

  • Key for the changing room is in the key-lock on the changing room door. Field light switches are in the changing room.

REDCLIFFS PARK

  • Storage and changing rooms – There aren’t any.

Cancellations

Cancellations will be broadcast on 92 MoreFM and NewsTalk ZB 1098 AM on Saturday morning. Cancellations also found on the Mainland Soccer website, www.mainlandsoccer.co.nz, or by ringing 355 3595 and pushing ‘9’ for cancellations.


Glasses

Players can not play with glasses with metal frames or glass lenses. Glasses are allowed, however the frames must be made of a non-metallic material and the lenses must be of a plastic material. This is a FIFA directive and must be followed by Mainland Soccer.


FIFA Code Of Conduct

Ferrymead Bays is comitted to fair play. As such we have adopted the FIFA Code of Conduct, which is applicable to all players, coaches, spectators and officials of Ferrymead Bays SC. This provides an expectation for conduct and behaviour, which applies to any individual who is involved with the Club.
