Tom Goodwin

Tom-Goodwin.jpgTom has been with the club for many years playing in the junior and youth teams and is a current member of the 2011 1st team squad.
Position.... Full back.

 

 

 

 

 


Omid Rajabi

Omid has joined Bays from the Mainland Academy after a spell in the North Island following the Christchurch earthquakes. Omid played under Mick for a couple seasons as a junior and at only 16 years old he is currently a first choice starter in center midfield. Will be a player to watch out for in the future.


Brent Archer

Ciaran Aherne

Ciaran has joined us this season from Irish club Bridge Celtic.
A six foot plus footballing centre back.
Made his debut v Nomads in the 1st game of 2011.
An asset to our defence.


Nick Grice

Nick had an excellent 2010 season in central midfield.
Worked hard to make a 1st team spot on a permanent basis. 
Needs to show same commitment for this season as competition for places will be fierce.

Nick name: Moo.

Age: 21

Wide midfielder, lots of pace and ability to score goals. Wiremu is a regular member of our 1st team.

 

 

 


Jacob Fitzgerald-Kearns

Jacob is a talented young player who has recently joined us from Coastal Spirit.
At home as a right or left back. If Jacob continues to progress, he will make a full back position his.


Richard Price

A no nonsense central defender, strong in the air.
Richard joined us from Woolston Tech and made his debut in the 2-1 win over unbeaten Nelson Suburbs.
Gaining Player of the Day in the process.

Mark McGale

Mark.jpgCurrent member of the 2011 1st team squad.
A utility defensive player.
Can play centre back or full back.

 

 

 

 



Geoff McIntyre

Joined us in the close season from Burnside.
Geoff is coming off a serious knee injury and has had a knee re-construction.
Will add depth to our squad, can play up front or midfield.


Paris Kerdermilidis

Paris is in his second season and has the ability to make a full back position his.
Provided he works hard with the right attitude.


Mauricio Oliveira

Mauricio has recently signed from Mid Canterbury.
A Brazilian striker who has the potential to score lots of goals.
Netted on his debut in the 1-1 draw away to Nomads.


Craig Harrison

Craig has been a very good signing for us. He has played Sunday league since arriving from the UK but he has settled in well to the higher grade Saturday football. An ever present for the reserves, he has forced his way into the 1st Team squad.


Adam Highfield

Adam is a quality goalkeeper who joined us part way through last season after a spell in Finland.
A top quality keeper. Highly rated by his coach as the best in Canterbury.
Adam represented Otago this season in the NZFC. 


Glen Collins

Glen is in his second spell with "The Bays" and is currently playing in a sweeper role.
He has plenty of experience to offer to the younger players in the team.
Glen is a former New Zealand All White and was a member of the 2011 Canterbury United team in the NZFC.

Nick Durham

Nick played for Bays at youth level before going to Burnside.
He has re signed for 2011 and will add competition for places.
Can play in midfield or as a striker.


Russell Kamo

Russell has joined us from Woolston Tech. He was golden boot in the Mainland league in 2010 and was top scorer for Canterbury United in the latest National League campaign. He will add the much needed firepower needed as Bays push for their third Mainland Premier League title since 2000.
Made an impact by scoring 5 goals in his second game for us.

Arran Stelling

Arran is a promising youngster who at 16 years old has potential to make a 1st team place his own.


Colin Evans

Colin is the veteran of the team and seems to have been round for ever.
Still putting in consistant displays from midfield and offering valuable help for the younger players in the team.


Christopher Moore

Christopher is another promising youngster who at 16 years old has potential to make the grade with the 1st team if he continues to progress.
