Ferrymead Bays FC provides football for all youth players aged 13-19 regardless of their ability, with high-quality experiences in order to retain or attract them to the game.
Youth grade teams participate in inter-club competitions run by Mainland Football and all teams play on Saturdays.

Talent Development Programme
Aspirational players can trial to play for Ōtākaro FC, with teams entered in the Canterbury Development Leagues.
In 2023, Ferrymead Bays FC partnered with several other clubs in eastern Christchurch to form Ōtākaro FC as a way to pool playing and coaching resources.
