We offer a Term 1 programme for First Kicks and Fun Football, separate from the regular season.

Regular season information
First Kicks (4 - 6 years)
Our First Kicks programme is for boys and girls (born 2018-2020) who are just starting on their football journey and want to learn basic skills, play games and make new friends.
Games: Saturdays from 9-10am at Ferrymead Park starting on April 27, 2024.
Skills sessions: Mondays from 4-5pm at Ferrymead Park.

Fun Football (7 - 8 years)
Fun Football is the next step up for boys and girls (born 2016-2017) who are progressing and developing their skills while playing small-sided games.
The focus is to have fun and help our youngsters fall in love with the game.
Games: Saturdays from 10-11am at Ferrymead Park starting on April 27, 2024.
Skills sessions: Mondays from 4-5pm at Ferrymead Park.

Junior Football (9-12 years)
Junior football is for players born between 2012-15, is played on Saturday mornings in the Mainland competition and is split into age bands, playing on different fields around the city at various times.
The focus is still on enjoyment, with no results or tables being recorded.
At the start of the season, players are placed in teams based on graded ability, friendship groups, association to the coach, or general allocation.
Ferrymead Bays FC has multiple teams playing in each age grade.
Junior games start on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

- 12th boys/mixed 9-aside 30 min halves 10.50 am

Fees: $220
Junior playing kit: Players need boots and shinpads. Shirts are provided and navy shorts and socks can be bought from our online shop.
Skills sessions: Available now via Otakaro FC.
